More from Maine

December 15th, 2009

Round two of film photos: Maine! After getting these back I found myself wishing that I had taken more photos of people instead of stuff around the cabin. I mean, stuff is cool too, but I really love photos of people that I like! At the time I had just met everyone for the first time, and was still rediscovering my camera, so it’s not surprising that I was being a little shy with it. Luckily, every photo taken with my camera turns out looking great, so I still have lots of cool shots from Maine. I think that first photo (taken at the most epic sunset) might be the most twee photo I have ever taken, haha! I also really love that picture of me and my buddy Ben Franklin, taken by dalas. So weird to have a Ben Franklin statue just hanging around on a bench. More here!

What kind of camera/film are you using? These photos are all so nice and clear and colorful! I love how incredibly red those lobster look.

Ben Franklin! There are a number of statues of him around my school campus, including one on a bench that people love taking pictures with :) Obviously this is less weird in Philly than in Maine…

Those photos are stunning. I really love the quality that a film camera gives to the photos.. they have so much depth. Film cameras always seem more magical than digital ones for some reason..

What amazing pictures! I love the color of the film and the moods it brings out. They really feel like moments in time far away.

& I like the twee photo, and you with Ben Franklin. You look so cute! Rushing water, lobster, and flare-ups are all yummy.
