50′s silk dress: From Stellate Vintage on etsy, it is handmade and has tiny elephants printed on it!
Bow belt: Betty Jayne’s estate sale
Black tights: Hue
Black boots: etsy
Rosette hair fascinator: Giant Dwarf on etsy
These photos are actually from last week when Julianna and I went to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden. It was really beautiful there, flowers everywhere, ponds and lakes, tons of cute ducks (different varieties too, really neat to see the more unusual ones), geese (babies too, they looked like dinosaurs!)… I want to go back because these were the only photos I got on that day, plus some duck shots. The dress is really sweet, I know you can’t see the little elephants from so far away cause they’re tiny little guys, but they are cute! I love unusual prints like that, and I think it’s nice that it’s a very subtle print. The fabric is so soft and silky, too bad it wrinkles so easily! I ironed it before leaving the house and after the car ride it was kind of crinkled, but that’s ok with me. Elephants are supposed to be wrinkly, after all!

I love that dress! And pixie power to the rosette facsinator as I have the same one!
Happy thoughts for the rest of your day and thanks for the pink inspiration

What a cute dress! It reminds me of an Elsa Schiaparelli dress that I saw at the Met a while ago. I think it was pink, but instead of elephants, it had tiny little beaded flies all over it. Yours

Definitely loving this! I normally am a bit “eesh” on the whole pink/black combo (I blame Hot Topic) but you’ve made me re-think it! Very pretty indeed

Oh how pretty. And elephants! I think your boots are what does the trick because if I think of it any other way, it’s bad elephants.

So sweetly, femininely, timelessly pretty! I especially like the black shoes and tights you paired the darling pink dress with. The juxtaposition of light/airy and dark/mysterious is so wonderful!
Wishing you a beautiful weekend,
♥ Jessica

Wow, I was stalking that same dress on Stellate and if I got it I would have worn it boringly . . . your outfit is the perfect one for it, I think! It’s just wonderful.
