This summer editorial is something I’ve been working on for a while, it all started with the discovery of an awesome old historic house on Sauvie Island. It is empty now, which made it a perfect backdrop for a countryside shoot, and all the Oregon Parks folks were really chill about the whole thing. I contacted a couple of my favorite independent designers to see if they’d provide some clothing, and I was so excited when they all said yes. A million thanks to Nadia, Lisa Marie and Anna for sending such great stuff, and in two cases, from so far away. A million more thanks to Megan, Nica, dalas, Haley and Kathleen for being so cool and spending a day with me out in the country and makin’ it happen. May your summer dreams make you feel oh so fine!

In other photo news, Megan and I won third place in the Crossroads photo contest! Yay! There were over 1500 entries, so I’m proud of us. Interesting to note, all the winners (except for first) are from Portland!

Gorgeious pictures! And I love the clothes as well–all the girls look like people I’d want to hang out with (so they can share their style tips).

So amazing! I love the little cat tattoo peekin’ out. Everything is so perfect, and I love how you overlaid the photos over the flower photos.

was getting a bit worried there as I saw this and it had a feeling of a horror movie, but then it calmed down and the girls looked a bit more relaxed and sensual.. cool.
