Rachel Comey Clogs

I don’t usually have an easy time proclaiming absolute favorites, but I’ll go ahead and say that Rachel Comey designs my favorite shoes. I know I’m not alone, I swear my eyes are drawn to those shoes like there is a magnet in my brain forcing me to see them out in the world. I saw a lady at the food carts this weekend wearing those fringe boots (like these but with that tassel on the front, maybe hard to find now?) and I felt a zap in my head go “RACHEL COMEY.” Haha, shoe robot. I’ve been programmed, it’s true. By the way, food cart gal, are you reading this? You & your friend have great style! Anyway, I feel pretty lucky right now cause after months of staring at these awesome clogs, the kind folks at Solestruck (based here in Portland!) offered to send me a pair. It’s hard to say that without adding a !!!!!!! to the end of it, I’m trying to be chill.

Obviously, they are gorgeous in person, and way lighter than these strappy sandals that I have. The biggest problem with Rachel Comey shoes is that they are too nice, and they make you want to own more pairs. I have one other kind, these wedges that I got on ebay for a seriously good price. Now I can’t get some leopard print clog pair out of my head… Did you see this crazy perforated platform pair from Solestruck’s lookbook? They are wild! I want to see them in person, and hopefully I will get a chance at their store.

The one and only Solestruck shop is right here in Portland, located at 718 Northwest 11th Avenue (downtown). Who wants to go and try on fancy shoes with me?? Thanks a million to Ty and Solestruck for fueling this obsession and for putting awesome things on my feet.

Those shoes are amazing–and not just because Solestruck sent them to you! ;) (You lucky thing! lol.) I have to admit that every time you post about Rachel Comey shoes I go and browse around shops that carry RC shoes and daydream about owning a pair… I love how wonderfully comfortable and slightly 70s-retro they look. Perfect spring shoe!

Eeep, Rachel Comey shoes are definitely my favorite, too! If only I could afford a pair… even off Ebay would be satisfactory.
