Wardrobe Remix’s Past Life

October 27th, 2008

At the antique sale I came across an amazing old photo album. I always gravitate towards albums because I think they are really interesting, better than just single photos, because of the notes and little photo corners and other scraps that may have been glued into the book. This one was huge, every page was filled with photos and there were all sorts of papers in the back- school certificates, play programs, letters… it was so great. Unfortunately the book was $100 so there was no way I could buy it, but that didn’t stop me from taking photos of my favorite parts: 1930′s outfit photos! There were a couple pages of these photos in the middle of the book, and it seemed like they were taken just to document her outfits. This girl is like the past-life incarnation of a wardrobe remix star. Her outfits are cute, well put-together, interesting, and you can see how cleverly she combines the pieces from her closet. She looks great and is totally cute, a Kansas girl who had great style. I hope you like these photos!

What an awesome find! Her clothes are gorgeous, and I could learn a thing or two about posing from her, too.

A treasure! So sad that someone may actually know who this is and doesn’t have the photo album. Wonder how it ended up in a shop? I think the girl looks a lot like Sofia Cuppola.
