Special 1920′s Shop Update!

July 12th, 2010

1. 1920′s sage and lace flapper dress
2. 1920′s studded rose flapper dress

I’m really excited about today’s shop update, because everything is from the 1920′s! The 20′s is my favorite era of vintage fashion, I think the clothing is all so special. So much of it is handmade, and the details are always exquisite. Not to mention the colors! Perfect, muted tones. It was such a treat to photograph these items, they are just like my frock paintings come to life!

4. 1920′s embrodiered lace tunic blouse
5. 1920′s pale blush stretchy camisole

so so lovely…it’s a shame though, i’m such a rough and reckless maiden that i know i’d probably tear those shoulder seams right apart! i tore the fabric of a pink and white striped sundress the other day! (luckily, i was able to fix it). i’m definitely the kind of girl that wants to look cute but won’t stop myself if fun and adventure strike, and my dresses pay the price!

they are so beautiful. I recently celebrated my 21st birthday with a 1920s theme. All these items make me sigh :)

By far, one of the most dreamiest and inspiring shop updates I have seen. I love all the colors and shapes of each outfit. They all sold quite fast so I’m glad you made a blog post about them so I can still admire them. I love the minty green dress and the pale pink colors. Very reminiscent of Chanel Fall 2009 palette-wise, although since these dresses are older, I guess it’s the other way around. :)
