Great photos! Out of curiosity, do any of these photos say anything about the Zugspitze (or Alpspitze) or Garmisch-Partenkirchen (or Grainau!) on the back?
Just wondering since I used to live in the German alps, and I'm wondering if any of these photos are from different angles than I'm used to seeing the mountains!

Very cute. I love the one with the couple looking at each other, the lady in her beautiful trench! At least Portland had that big snow storm last year! That was fun, and I was hoping for that again this year. The one day it snowed I had driven my tiny car downtown and was sliding around. yuck.

These are great! I have a weird relationship with winter: I love the clothes and the idea of it, but hate actually living through it. ;) My husband has been lamenting that we moved from DC and are missing all the snow in FL. I, on the other hand, am perfectly happy to be living in a mild climate! haha!

These photos are great. We've been having an elongated fall here in Taipei. Last winter it was freezing this time of year and now it's so warm I can go out in t-shirts. It's nice, but I wonder what it says about global warming...
By the way, 2,000 photos!?! That must have been one awesome package!

I always love these vintage photo posts you do! And yes, the snow is cah-razy here right now. We got another 14 inches on top of the 26 we already had... and it's still coming down! That's 40 inches yo! (In case you weren't doing the math). Your little taste of spring, however brief it may be, sounds wonderful.

I always love old photos... always.
They made me feel warm and calm somehow. Sadly we don't have snow here, really, summer is never end for us who live in the tropical land... But these photos are really great (and tempting!! LOL). Really enjoy them!
