File under: things I should have posted about sooner! The Clever Nettle X Refinery29 vintage shop has lots of new pieces! This shop is part of the Vintage Across America project, and there will be new items appearing all the time throughout the month (in all shops), so be sure to keep checking back! I’ll try to work out a good system for keeping you up to date- there are more items (like all the accessories!) that I’m not posting here right now, so this isn’t a be-all-end-all kind of post. I’m collecting pieces for the next batch and am going for lots of unique silhouettes & COLOR!

VINTAGE SHOP UPDATE

Been adding lots of vintage stock to the shop! The look of the shop is a bit all over the place these days, I tried using this blue paper but I feel like the colors are kind of weird (?), so I’m switching back to classic ol’ white for a while after this. I shot a bunch of new stuff already as well and have started listing those items, including some really cute 1950′s and 60′s dresses. I almost never find those anymore, so it was a lucky thrifting week! Be sure to check the shop this week for these pieces, and lots more! In other vintage-related news, I have a new collection for my Refinery29 X Clever Nettle shop arriving soon, and next month I will be joining forces with my pal Carlie and selling vintage right here in Portland at Red Fox Vintage! Carlie has a really great booth at the shop and I’m excited to be included in her space.

REFINERY29 COLLECTION – THE GOODS

CLEVER NETTLE ON REFINERY29

The Clever Nettle shop at Refinery29 is live! Over the past month or so I’ve been working on putting together a special collection of vintage for R29, inspired by Japanese and Korean street style, and people everywhere who like to dress with a bit of a weird or playful edge. I was extra selective when sourcing items and am really excited about the pieces that make up this collection, especially a lot of the necklaces! I love necklaces and there are some super cool ones in there, including the best cat necklace ever and one that is covered in tiny, golden hands. Creepy, cute, and perfect.

NEW ANN-YA LEATHER POUCHES

New pouch styles are now available in the shop. Really excited about these new leather designs! As always, the fancy prints are super limited, so don’t wait if there’s one you like. Also, I’ve updated the tote styles so they now have thicker straps and a lining! Had to raise the prices a little bit, but I think it was worth the switch. If you live in Portland, you can find some of these new pouches at Backtalk and Demimonde!

My vintage shop has a new look! Every year or so I get totally bored of the overall vibe of my shop and I want to switch things up, so I’m currently working on re-shooting my entire shop. Almost all of these are totally brand new listings, and I’m feeling excited about the shop again. There are some really good holiday pieces up now, and I’ll be adding some rad shoes and accessories over the next couple of days as well. Hope you like it!
